Our Adult Jiu Jitsu Program is for men and women ages 13+ (size and maturity dependent for teens). We offer eight classes per week completely year-round.
All classes are one hour long with extra time after class for sparring.
We offer Fundamentals classes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11:00 AM and every Monday and Friday at 7:00 PM.
We offer Advanced classes (open to any skill level) every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 PM. We also offer a competition style class (open to any skill level) on Saturdays at 11:00 AM.
Fundamentals Classes:
Our fundamental classes are designed to allow anyone to experience the life-changing benefits of jiu jitsu.
Classes start with a functional warm up that anyone can participate in. This is followed by a time of learning basic takedowns, escapes, submissions, and a variety of other resistance-tested techniques. This portion of class will usually end with a more advanced technique as a challenge and a reminder that there is always more to learn. The technique portion of the class will always be followed by time for sparring.
Advanced Classes:
Our advanced classes are open to anyone, however, they are not designed for everyone. The class structure is similar to our fundamental classes, but is more difficult across the board, and has a much faster paced learning environment. We recommend this class for anyone who wants to challenge themselves or has prior grappling experience.
Saturday Competition Class:
Our most intense class on the schedule is open to anyone, and it is sure to leave you confident that you worked hard and are better than you were when you walked in. The instructors have been there and done that when it comes to jiu jitsu competition training and the competitions themselves, so you can be assured that the class will be safe but effective for your goals. This class is recommended for anyone who has a desire to push their limits, interested in competition/sport jiu jitsu, or has a background in competitive sports or martial arts.
Jiu Jitsu training for adults has exploded in popularity across the world over the last two decades. The reason is that Adults can benefit from training jiu jitsu in a variety of ways. Some examples include self defense, mobility, strength, discipline, weight loss, competition, and a sense of community.
A Jiu Jitsu class is a place where people of all different walks of life come together with the common goal of making each other better than they were yesterday. Come be a part of it!
